Ingredients:
- 220 g baking flour
- 180 g of sugar
- 3 eggs M
- 85 g raisins
- 100 ml ron
- 1 cdite chemical yeast or baking powders
Preparation:
1. We'll start by placing the rum and raisins in a bowl and let them sit for about 30 minutes. This way the raisins are going to be hydrating and taking all the flavor.
2. Then we melt the butter and mix it with sugar.
3. We add the eggs and mix well.
4. When well integrated, we add raisins and rum mix.
5. We sieve the flour and yeast and mix until you get an even mixture.
6. We grease a rectangular mold and pour the dough inside.
7. Preheated the oven to 170°C and bake for about 40-45 minutes or until when you stab it with a stick it comes out clean.
8. We let the cake cool inside the pan for 5 minutes and then unmold it on a grid so that it just cooled completely.
9. Optional, we sprinkle a pinch of icing sugar on top before serving.
