Ingredients for 4 persons)
- 1 cabbage
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 100 grams of round rice
- a little parsley
- Butter
- 200 grams of pork, lamb or veal.
- 2 cloves garlic
- 100 grams of ham
- 2 tablespoons of capers
Tomato sauce:
- 400 grams of tomatoes
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- A pinch of salt
Cook the rice for 20 minutes in a pan of salted water.
- Cook the cabbage leaves in a pressure cooker.
- Melt the onion then add the ham, rice and capers.
- Place a portion of the stuffing in the middle of each cabbage leaf and fill the edges by forming rolls.
- Bake for 1 hour in the oven with a few knobs of butter.
Prepare the tomato sauce:
- Cook the diced onion in a little butter then mix it with the tomato with a pinch of sugar.
- Cook over moderate heat.
