Muffins au chocolat

 

     INGREDIENTS

    • 1 egg
    •   250 ml (1 cup) milk
    •   60 ml (1/4 cup) vegetable oil
    •   208 g (1 2/3 cups) all-purpose flour
    •   150 g (3/4 cup) sugar
    •   30 g (1/3 cup) cocoa powder
    •   17 ml (3 1/2 tsp.) baking powder
    •   2 ml (1/2 tsp.) salt
    •   85 g (1/2 cup) semi-sweetened chocolate chips


    PREPARATION:

    1 Place the grill at the center of the oven. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Butter or line 12 muffin cups.

    2 In a large bowl, beat the egg, milk and oil until smooth.

    3 In another bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder and salt and add to the liquid preparation, beating until well blended. Stir in chocolate chips.

    4 Scoop the batter into the molds using a large spoon or ice cream scoop and bake for 15-18 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center of the muffin comes out clean.
